HMS Beagle

This is a replica of the Beagle, the ship in which Darwin made a travel around the world between 1831 and 1836. In that ship he made most of his experimental research before he came up with the theory that made him famous.

Made with Softimage and Ozone plugin for the sky. Sea done with aaOceanSuite ICE plugin created by Amaan Akram.

Mountain Troll

I keep searching in my external HD for old works. Now is the turn for my Mountain Troll, my oldest creature in 3D. I did the mesh in 2008 using XSI and ZBrush, and was painted in Bodypaint at the end of 2009.

Kraken!

I've just re-rendered an old model made in early 2009. It was made in ZBrush (modeled and painted) and has been rendered in Softimage, using Mental Ray. There is also some postproduction done in Photoshop.

Between the Twilight and Dawn of a Mosca

My computer is broken so there is no more 3D for a week or two. The only thing I can do now is use my old computer and play with small things in photoshop. I have polished two old renders, the result is quite nice.

Between 1936 and 1939 the aircraft polikarpov I-16 had a significant role in the spanish civil war, holding up and disrupting many bombing raids from the francoist axis on high populated cities like Madrid and Barcelona. These republican aircrafts also known in Spain as 'Moscas' or 'Chatos' were used efficiently by the republican army and became a symbol of the spanish fight against fascism.

Here is my tribute to them.
