I almost forgot to add this entry! Still at Framestore, working on Marvel shows for the most part and finishing Infinity War in a month.

2016 summary
This past year at Framestore I've been working on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 and Alien: Covenant but I also spent some time doing minor work in Beauty and the Beast and Now You See Me 2. It has been a very productive year and I am looking forward to see how the audience receive the new chapters of these two lucrative and beloved franchises.

Maya modelling
I've spent some of this Christmas spare time learning and practicing modelling in Maya. I've also been into Zbrush and Marvelous Designer a bit. Spending so many hours texturing at work can some times rust up other skills...

2015 summary
Another year has passed, quite quickly I would say. This year I've been working on Terminator, Batman vs Superman and Fast and Furious Supercharged, but for the most part I've been working on Disney's Jungle Book. In September I moved to Framestore and now I'm working on Beauty and the Beast.
Who knows what new shows this year will bring!

I haven't had much spare time to do personal projects this year. I've been spending my time working at MPC and setting up my family in London. But this year and a half has been a really busy texturing time and these are some of the productions in which I have been involved

The Weathermen #1 - Teamwork
Beyond the year 3000, earth is being devastated by radioactive tides and gamma ray storms. Life on earth's crust is almost impossible. Humankind is now living in big cities deep under the ground and their energy dependence is very high.
Those who collect the energy needed by the big dug settlements are called 'the weathermen', pariah who survive on the surface detontating nuclear reactions to gather their valuable energy for the undercities.
------------
This image has been done in collaboration with David Muñoz Velazquez. His is the heavy weatherman, full clothed in gadgets. The light one, who carries a kind of antenna is mine. David is also responsible of the final look of the images, so most of the credit goes to him!

Glaurung & Túrin
When I was fifteen I had
my room wallpapered with works of Alan Lee, John Howe and Ted
Nasmith. For many years they became the main window to visually visit
Middle-Earth and the Undying Lands.
I have always wanted to
recreate Tolkien's mythology, but due to lack of skill and time I
have never been able to. Finally I collected the courage to try. This
is the result. I hope you like it.
Done in Softimage, Zbrush,
Mari and Photoshop.
