The Last Stand

Almost a year has passed since my last full composition. Every day I have less and less spare time and more uncountable working hours at the studio. But finally I have finished my last work, done with Softimage, Zbrush, Mari and Photoshop.

Creating this image I’ve learned a lot of Mari and I’ve tried to improve my Zbrush skill. It has been fun and instructive!

I want to thank David Muñoz Velazquez and Juan Siquier for their sound advice and well-aimed remarks in discussing earlier versions of this work.

Render Out! - Making of The Flying Drakkar

Issue 16 of the free magazine "Render Out!" is finally online: www.pixeltale.com/RenderOut.php

There you can find a 'making of' of my composition The Flying Drakkar, and another interesting making of a Star Wars tooper model by my friend David Muñoz Velázquez among many other interesting things.
Worth to download it! (in spanish).
